Throughout 8 episodes (including two live episodes), comedy legend Kevin Hart searches for the next big stand-up comedian, and is joined by fellow stand-ups as he travels the United States in search of the next comedy superstar. Together, and staying with Netflix for two episodes and real-time voting, there will be a new stand-up legend.
Hart is also joined on the trip by fellow stand-up heavyweight Keegan-Michael Key (key and peel), Tom Segura (completely norman), Kumail Nanjiani (very sick), Chelsea Handler (chelsea does) And nikki glaser (someday you will die). The winner of the contest, as voted by Netflix viewers, gets the gift of a lifetime: their own Netflix stand-up comedy special. This is a potentially career-defining award, and 44 contestants from New York, Chicago and Los Angeles are passionately striving to achieve it.

Kevin Hart knows what it takes to turn a mic and a dream into comedy superstardom. At Funny AF, he’s looking for the next comedian willing to walk that path. In this uncensored comedy competition, budding stand-ups from across the country come into the spotlight in hopes of making the same leap Kevin once did from working in small clubs to headlining their own special shows. Plus, Kevin and a group of comedy veterans will decide who advances in the competition, taking a behind-the-scenes look at the pressures, wins and occasional bombs that shape careers in stand-up. The mission is simple: find the next great voice in comedy with the courage, perspective, and punchlines to become the next household name. The competition will go live to the final round where a global vote will determine the final winner.

Funny AF Release Schedule: When will new episodes air?
Funny AF with Kevin Hart Starting Monday, April 20, it will run for a three-week period. The full release schedule is below:

Audience voting is open to all Netflix customers anywhere in the world. The voting process for the final six contestants begins in the semi-finals. It will only be open for a limited time specified during the live episode. You must watch live to cast your vote, as the voting system is based on on-screen prompts.
