“Based on a true story, 72 Hours tells the story of Joe (played by Kevin Hart), a married father of three who accidentally finds himself involved in an email chain for a bachelor party being planned by a group of twentysomethings from across the country. Happy and nostalgic for his wilder days, Joe keeps reading the emails, remembering a time when life was more carefree. Eventually, he comes clean about the mistake – revealing who he is and who he wasn’t. Actually it was meant to be on the chain.
To her surprise, the best man of the group, Nick, responds by actually inviting her to join the trip. What Jo doesn’t know is that Nick has some ulterior motives: he hopes that Jo’s presence – and her settled, domestic life – will convince his best friend Mason to call off the wedding.
