In their new home, they aim to make a fresh start in their lives; Leaving behind Sophie’s mysterious, painful past. However, Sophie soon joins a group of naughty wives, and it doesn’t take long before the evils she tried to get away from start to resurface.

What do these titles tell us about Season 2?

Naturally, these titles are quite generous on face value alone. However, if we look at the titles of Season 1, some of them were inspired by musicals – look no further than this. sunrise tells the story And Deep in the Heart of Texas. It seems like the titles for Season 2 take even heavier pop music inspiration.

It is relatively safe to assume that back in the saddle Is the premiere. At the end of Season 1, Sophie and Margo have a falling out when Sophie attacks Margo’s brother Kyle to defend herself. No doubt the title refers to Sophie trying to carry on after the damaging events of the finale. The title also refers to a famous song by Aerosmith.

Meanwhile, the title Sunny came home This is undoubtedly a reference to the classic 1990s song by Shawn Colvin (a musician with deep ties to Texas). The song is a metaphor for leaving your past behind, which echoes Sophie’s story. The title of Colvin’s song is Sunny came home instead of show title Sunny came homeWhich may indicate the arrival of a new character named Sonny.

Sticking to the musical influences, title dead ringer This is almost certainly a reference to Texas rockstar Meat Loaf’s 19081 hit dead ringer for love. Other examples include freak on a Leash (a 1999 song by Korn), last Dance (a 1978 song by Donna Summer), and riders on the Storm (a 1971 song by The Doors), holy straight (a 2003 song by The Long Winters), Good luck, babe!
