The press release also confirmed that production of Season 2 will return to New Jersey, with a large cast including Levy, Taylor Ortega, Laurie Metcalf, Abby Quinn, Boran Kuzum, Jack Innen, Elizabeth Perkins, Mark Ivanir, Ilya Volokh, Jacob Gutierrez, and Joe Barbara.

First, before the renewal was announced:
We were keeping a close eye on the show’s viewership and stats until the series received a secret pre-order that we weren’t aware of. The viewership on Netflix remained very low in the first four days. In fact, compared to most cancellations and other shows of the same genre, the show’s debut with only 2.7 million views and 12.2 million viewing hours globally was likely falling short of renewal territory, especially for a show of this budget. This was enough to place it at number eight on the weekly top 10 chart for the week of April 6 to April 12, 2026.
That said, the show has steadily climbed into the daily top 10 since its arrival, proving that its completion rate and other factors that Netflix looks at for renewal present a worthy case for a second season.
