Netflix is celebrating America’s sesquicentennial with a brand-new UI overhaul, themed collections, and the historical documentary series ‘The American Experiment.’

As the United States of America officially turns 250 this upcoming weekend, Netflix is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the country’s half-centennial. In the early light of the morning, the streamer has launched a massive new documentary series with a huge set of curated collections designed with the historical milestone in mind.
If you log into Netflix over the next few days, you’ll be greeted by a metal Mount Rushmore-esque banner for the new (which is sadly, entirely AI-generated – just like their previous range of launches). “USA 250!” Center.
This collection is in addition to the streamer recently licensing a bunch of History Channel content and releasing its big new documentary: American experiment.

We’ve taken a look at the platform to break down 11 subseries that Netflix has created to honor the full spectrum of the American experience.
