Like the other installments, the series consists of four episodes, which relate different stories across America. The initial episode focuses on Frances Zaire, a woman who was once Shauna and David Scott’s house guest. She later moved to their house, where she caused them discomfort with her racism and attention-seeking habits. Ultimately, she became embroiled in a long-running feud that led to her being branded a murderer. The second episode follows a home bombing in an Indianapolis suburb that affected a neighborhood and the conspiracy that started it. Third, an Oakland couple, Miles and Melina, face an unruly, evicted neighbor and the negligence of the county that tore their family apart. And finally, the final episode explores the disappearance of Charles Wilding Jr. and his relationship with Caroline Joan Herling, a suspect who claimed to be overseeing his estate.

Despite the overall tonal heaviness, the four episodes create an interesting experience. These tension-filled criminal accounts will leave you either angry or completely confused at the audacity of these criminals. The second episode, which centers around suburbia and the bomb, may be the most notable due to the unique nature of the crime and the broader narrative involving a community rather than a family.
