Filming of Season 8 originally began in August 2025 in Los Angeles, with the cast having a huge blowout party. The series will end in mid-December 2025.
The renewal ensures that the series avoids the fate of its spinoffs, All American: HomecomingWhich was canceled and ended with its third season in 2024. As the only remaining scripted series from the network’s legacy deal with Netflix, all American Streaming holds a unique place in history.

Finally the long wait is about to end. The CW confirms that Season 8 will kick off with a special event Two-hour premiere on Monday, July 13, 2026 (8:00–10:00 PM ET/PT).
The two-part premiere includes:
- Episode 801: “Rewind” (8:00 pm) – Exploring the results of a playoff game six months earlier, the episode finds Cassius and KJ fighting for their joint future, while KJ’s increasing intensity worries her loved ones and leaves Khalil in the throes of it. Meanwhile, Jordan and Cassius attempt to build family bonds.
- Episode 802: “There is No Competition” (9:00 pm) – Jordan struggles to reconnect with Layla, and Cassius is determined to prove he is the right coach for Beverly. Amina’s sudden reappearance throws Khalil and KJ off balance just before the showcase, sparking unresolved emotions and jealousy. Meanwhile, the coop is thriving with new business opportunities.
Like last season, this final run will include 13 episodes overall.
Before the premiere, The CW also aired a one-hour retrospective titled All American: End of the Series on June 22, looking back at the show’s most memorable moments.
