Back in March 2026, What’s on Netflix? Exclusively revealed that Damson Idris was set to lead Lord’s DayA massive new political action-thriller based on the novel by House of cards Author Michael Dobbs. Now, deadline (And netflix uk) has officially unveiled the stellar cast joining him in the upcoming British drama.
produced by bad Wolf (am a doctor, their dark stuff), the 6-part series promises an explosive, fast-paced ride through the halls of Westminster. With cameras already rolling in the UK as production begins in Spring 2026, Netflix is assembling a powerhouse roster of British and international talent to support Idris.
Here is the list of new cast members officially joining the series:
- Harry Lottie – Lottie is no stranger to Bad Wolf Productions, having starred in the first three seasons of the hit banking drama Industry. He was also seen on the big screen recently Joker: Folie A Deux.

What is Lord’s Day About this?
If you missed our initial scoop in March, Lord’s Day is an action-heavy adaptation of Michael Dobbs’ bestselling thriller. While the book focuses on the broader politics of the massive hostage siege during the state opening of Parliament, the Netflix adaptation is ramping up the action by centering the story around a lone-wolf protagonist.

Damson Idris (Snow, f1) plays British detective Harry Jones. He will also serve as an executive producer.
