But when he meets perfect Barbara (Scarlett Johansson) and insightful Esther (Julianne Moore), John is forced to reevaluate his unrealistic expectations of love and intimacy. This is a surprisingly heartfelt, funny and insightful indie hit.

Netflix has officially brought the beloved American classic back to the small screen! This brand-new, big-budget Netflix original adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic books promises to be a slightly more grounded, cinematic take on the struggles and triumphs of the Ingalls family as they settle on the harsh Midwest frontier in the late 1800s. Whether you grew up watching the Michael Landon series or are introducing your family to the story for the first time, this is a beautifully shot, heartfelt weekend delight.


Hamnett (2025)

If you’re in the mood for some prestige, tear-jerking cinema, Chloé Zhao (nomadic land) The stunning adaptation of Maggie O’Farrell’s bestselling novel has arrived on Netflix. Starring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal, the film takes a mesmerizing, fictional look at the life of Agnes Shakespeare (wife of William Shakespeare) as she grapples with the heartbreaking loss of her young son, Hamnet – a tragedy that would ultimately inspire one of the most famous plays in history. With strong performances, it’s a must-watch.


ISS (2023)

Type: Movies
Style: Sci-Fi, Thriller Runtime: 1 hour 35 minutes

Ultimately, if you’re looking for a tense, claustrophobic, and incredibly fast-paced sci-fi thriller, this 2023 entry is the perfect popcorn movie for a Saturday night. The film, starring Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, follows a group of American and Russian astronauts living peacefully on the International Space Station. However, when a devastating global war suddenly breaks out on the Earth below them, both factions receive secret, conflicting orders from their governments: they must take control of the station by any means necessary.

Now, let’s take a look at what people have actually been watching on Netflix US over the last seven days.

But Movies On the other hand, Millie Bobby Brown’s return as Enola for the third installment has just passed the first full week. As we predicted last week, enola holmes 3 Jumps straight to #1 with 70 points. Last Week’s Western Charm Old Henry, Our top highlight from last week’s new arrivals also had a fantastic week, coming comfortably to #2 with 56 points, while July 1st included Spider-Man: Homecoming Rounded out the top three (53 points).

Next on the list, catalog comedies and thrillers are growing in big numbers over the summer, with the Wayans Brothers’ classic white Chicks Breaking into the top five and David Fincher gone girl #8 To secure. We also saw a brand new original thriller Shipwreck: Nightmare at Sea Gain enough audience to debut at #11.

But TV series Chart, we have a brand new champion. netflix original true crime documentary worst neighbor ever went straight to the top of the board with 79 points, proving once again that the true crime genre remains nearly unbeatable on the platform. This ultimately deposed Harlan Coben i will find youWhich slipped to #2 but remains incredibly strong with 69 points.

We can also see some of this week’s latest additions already making their presence felt. AMC’s epic licensed thriller dark winds (Season 4) debuted at #8 (23 issues), while our highlight was the original adaptation of little house on the prairieJoined the top 10 with 18 points. Finally, stand-up fans clearly tuned in for crowd-work king Jeff Arcuri, and pushed for his debut special Nice to meet you On the board at #11.
