Filmed over the course of two years, mourinho Will tell the story of the man who completely revolutionized the role of a modern football manager.
The three-part series begins twenty years after that fateful night when he stunned the sporting world by leading FC Porto to Champions League glory. From there, the docu-series will chart his historic rise, managing some of the most prestigious clubs on the planet, including Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, where he recently returned.
With league titles in four different countries and two Champions League trophies, Mourinho’s career has been nothing short of ups and downs. Netflix promises that the series will “go beyond the headlines and touchline theatrics to get under the skin of the ‘Special One’,” exploring the ultimate paradox of a winner whom the game can’t live without, but also can’t always live with.
