His next series, street catsis an animated offering that takes viewers into the world from the perspective of stray cats who are ostracized by humans and left to fend for themselves on the streets. With this series, Gervais primarily tackles the themes of loneliness and belonging.
Gervais himself provides the voice work, and he also enlisted the voice talents of several longtime collaborators, including Diane Morgan (life after) Olive, as David Earl (derek) as Puke, Tom Basden (life after) as Pons and Andrew Brook (David Brent: life on the road) as fang.

On 20th August, outer Banks Returns for a final installment. The 10-episode fifth season marks the end of the road, releasing all at once instead of the split release of its predecessor. Season 4 ended in the most tragic way possible, with the death of JJ Maybank (Rudy Pankow) in Morocco after trading the Blue Crown to save Kiara (Madison Bailey). The following season begins shortly afterward, with the Pogues mourning his death. Meanwhile, Dalia (Pollyanna McIntosh), the Corsairs and the Kooks continue their plan to make sure the Pogues never return home.
It’s set to be an epic, action-packed final outing. It’s the Pogues against the world.

Netflix is doing a big job on historical dramas based on classics this year. Of course, we’ve got new editions of Jane Austen pride and prejudice and john steinbeck east of eden to look forward to. But before they do, the streamer will debut a new adaptation of Miles Franklin’s seminal novel my wonderful careerSet in a rural Australian town in the early 19th century, where an ambitious young woman plans to become a writer, but her journey is thwarted by a budding romance with a younger man, as well as myriad other suitors.
The 6-episode adaptation is directed by Philippa Northeast (The Family Next Door) as Sibylla, Christopher Chung (slow horses) Harry, as Sherry-Lee Watson (heartbreaking high) as Nell and Jake Dunn (Renegade Nell) as Frank.
Film lovers out there will remember the most important adaptation of the story, which has come out as my wonderful career (1979) starring Judy Davis as Sybilna and the late, famous Sam Neill as Harry. The story was also adapted into a hit stage musical. However, the Netflix adaptation will undoubtedly introduce the story to a more contemporary demographic.
Leanne (Season 2)

In recent years, Netflix has really struggled to establish itself as the top destination for multi-cam sitcoms. But there is one big exception to that statement: lien. Created by Susan McMartin, Chuck Lorre and Leanne Morgan, the series first premiered in 2025 and climbed the Netflix charts, reaching number 7 on global TV charts in its first week of release. The series later received Primetime Emmy consideration.
The comedy centers on Leanne (played by Leanne Morgan), whose life is turned upside down when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman. Determined to restart her life as a grandmother in menopause, she starts a new chapter with the help of her family, friends, and Jello salad.

Sex Lives of College Girls (Seasons 1–3)

Running for three seasons before being cancelled, sex life of college girls was a major streaming hit. It particularly helped propel star Renée Rapp to international pop stardom.
The licensing deal continues a fruitful partnership between Netflix and creator Mindy Kaling, who previously created the series I never have And running point On streamer.
