With production set to begin on June 1, 2026, Netflix has announced five new cast members Lord of the Jungle! The five confirmed cast members include Nell Fisher, Benjamin Walker, Damon Gupton, Susannah Perkins and Autumn Molina, joining Maya Hawke and Kerry Condon. Lord of the Jungle.
Lord of the Jungle is an upcoming Netflix original drama series based on the 2024 novel of the same name by Liz Moore. She will serve as co-showrunner, co-writer, and executive producer of the series alongside Liz Hannah. Sony Pictures will produce the television series, and Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty will serve as executive producers for the original film.
The summary of the series is:
“Based on the New York Times best-selling novel, The God of the Woods is a multi-generational drama series set in the Adirondacks. It explores the Van Laar family’s dark secrets, class tensions, and the mysterious disappearance of 13-year-old Barbara Van Laar from her family’s summer camp – in the wake of a prior family tragedy that may be related. As past and present collide, the Van Laar wealth and influence are exposed. leading to harmful consequences of abuse of privilege and power.”
