Delicious Dungeon was incredibly popular in the Netflix library in January 2024, and fans were delighted when the series was renewed for a second season. We have a big update: Tasty in the dungeon Will return to Netflix in October 2027.
Created by Studio Trigger, the same team behind Cyberpunk: EdgerunnerThe series adapts the fantasy cooking-adventure manga, which began publication in 2014 and ended in September 2023.
Yoshihiro Miyajima is the series director, and Kimiko Ueno is the writer.

The announcement came not from Netflix but from the show’s official channels (an important distinction), including YouTube (embedded below) and X/Twitter.
“Delicious in the Dungeon Season 2,” the tweet reads, “Now in production! We want to thank you for supporting Delicious in the Dungeon. Please continue to support the series and share your love for the series!”
The renewal should come as no surprise, as there is so much more about the original manga to tell. According to our estimation, the season 1 finale roughly brings us to the middle of the eighth volume of the manga series.
Despite the weekly rollout, the series was a huge success on Netflix, remaining in the global top 10 for a total of 5 weeks, garnering 11,900,000 hours watched globally, equivalent to 7,700,000 total views.
This show has created a lot of buzz since its release. Over 18 million views.

Sadly, that means an even longer wait, and at the time of writing, fans have 15 months to go before the release of Season 2. However, we are sure it will be worth it.
