What is the current status of just picture it And when will it release on Netflix?
filming going on just picture it (which was shot under the working title “JPI”) officially runs from September 8 to October 29, 2025. Production took place throughout Georgia, particularly heavily utilizing Gwinnett County, Atlanta, Decatur and Norcross. The film was completed in late October 2025 and is now in post-production with cinematographer David Lanzenberg.
Netflix has not yet set a release date and the title was notably absent from Netflix’s 2026 What’s Next slate reveal. After filming is complete and several months in post-production, we expect it to arrive on Netflix in late 2026, but don’t be surprised if it gets pushed to 2027.
