little house on the prairie (Season 1)
Coming to Netflix: Thursday
Get ready to go back to the border. In what is easily one of Netflix’s biggest original series of the summer, this brand-new, big-budget adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s timeless books finally makes its debut. Promising a fresh, serious and deeply emotional take on the triumphs and devastating hardships of American pioneers, this series is set to be a huge family-watching event. Whether you grew up with the books, the iconic 1970s television show, or are completely new to the Ingalls family, get ready to take a look at your Thursdays. Check out our full preview of the new series right here.
Hamnett (2025)
Coming to Netflix: monday
Following its acclaimed theater and festival run last year, Chloé Zhao’s sweeping historical drama makes its SVOD streaming debut on Netflix this week. Based on the best-selling novel by Maggie O’Farrell, the film beautifully follows William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes as they reflect on the devastating, tragic loss of their only son, Hamnet, in 1580s England – an event that would ultimately inspire one of the greatest plays ever written. Brilliantly directed and with powerful performances, you can find all the release details for this must-see drama here.

Coming to Netflix: Wednesday
spoon! If you’re looking for a heavy dose of nostalgia, Netflix has you covered this week. The beloved, short-lived 2001 live-action superhero comedy is totally hitting the stage. Starring Patrick Warburton in the perfect role of the big, blue, and blissfully ignorant hero, this cult classic series spoofed the comic book genre long before the concept of superhero fatigue became known. It’s hilarious, weird, and worth a rewatch (or a first-time viewing). Don’t forget that Prime Video is also coming to Netflix next week.
