s&x is an upcoming Japanese Netflix original series based on the manga of the same name by Kisei Tada. The story will be written by Ruriko Matsushima, Takumi Baba and Shogo Kusano, the latter of whom will also direct.
The series is being produced by Office Shiras with Markiko Sto and Daisuke Sairo.

But little do those around him know that he hides his own anxiety.”

The first cast member announced for the series was Kento Nakajima, who plays the lead role Ichito Shimotori. is an actor Known for starring in television shows such as bad boy j, kazoku no uta, and silver spoonas well as netflix original movie love like falling petals.
Nakajima shared his excitement about taking on the role of Shimotori with Netflix:
“The way Shimotori pays close attention to the finest details of his patients’ emotions and gently empathizes with them is similar to my own process of making music. I felt I was now ready for this challenge, which is why I accepted the role.”

“When writing the manga, I focused on the themes that ‘you don’t have to deal with sexual concerns alone’ and ‘there are places you can ask for help.’ As a viewer, I am incredibly excited to see how Kento Nakajima will bring this complex character to life!
Joining Nakajima in the cast are:
- yuko araki Yumi as Ichinose – The heroine who reunites with the hero and finds herself irresistibly attracted to him.
- Ryota Miura As Nurse Yuta Saigawa – Despite her role, she struggles to empathize with the daily emotional turmoil of her clients and keeps her workplace a secret from her boyfriend.
- sako fujima Marin as Natsume – Medical receptionist at the same clinic, a straight-talking personality who brings lightness and support to the somewhat distrustful Shimatori; he has a gay partner
- Aoi Nakamura Hayate as Suma – The main anchor of Yumi’s show, highly trusted by his superiors, he looks out for his junior colleague Yumi in various ways, although his affection towards her is palpable.
- Rinka Kumatara Miku as Konoe – Yumi’s promising junior anchor, who views Yumi – close to Hayate – as a rival and speaks harshly, but secretly has feelings for her.
- Sayaka Yamaguchi Shion Kase as – Advising the protagonist from a mysteriously attractive room of a building, she appears attractive at first glance but is an authentic gynecologist and medical doctor.
