“Everyone knows that the noble title he has inherited is the most important constant in Jan Paweł’s life. But is it really so? During the third season of 1670, after the harvest festival, the head of the Adamczewski family has to face the truth about his identity. He wants to prove to himself, but above all to the country, that he is a true Homo Sarmatus (man of the people).
The struggle to regain his position takes him to the royal court, where he observes the inner workings of power. The world as Jan Paweł knew it was beginning to collapse, and even in Adamzicha he could no longer enjoy the pleasant life of serfdom. His relationship with Zofia has grown cold, conflict with Jakub has escalated, and Satan’s closest relative, Andrzej, seems to be behind it all. I wish the farmers would respect this difficult situation and not intervene… but they are also appearing increasingly uneasy about the inconveniences of their situation. Will the school for farmers established on the initiative of Aniela be a solution to their suffering? And can a farmer really go to the moon?”
