Our dreamy little corner of the Texas Hill Country is still full of untold stories, and we can’t wait to bring them to our incredible fans. Get ready for another ride.”

The producing team for Season 2 includes executive producer April G. Blair, Joe Fazio, Kelly Breslin, Adam D. Milch, Dan Engel, and Bradley Gardner, as well as series stars Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly. Amanda Johnson-Zetterstrom serves as co-executive producer. What to Expect from Ransom Canyon Season 2?
Note: This is an abridged version of our What to Expect guide.
season 2 of Ransom Valley It seems Quinn is ready to move on as she returns from her six-month stint at the New York Philharmonic, where she went to regain control of her life and save her dance hall from the financial pressures of Austin Water & Power. Back home, Staton faces betrayal as her father teams up with Davis Collins to oust her as trustee of Double’s Ranch, but her grief over Randall’s death resolved and her love for Quinn finally accepted, Staton is willing to fight for her land and her future.
Meanwhile, Ellie and Yancy’s romance hits a major roadblock when a woman claiming to be his wife shows up, causing Ellie to become suspicious, while their chemistry continues. Young couple Lucas and Lauren must grapple with college choices and injuries that threaten their plans, while Reed begins to step out of his father’s shadow, potentially opening the door to a new path.
With an already rich group, new faces will be limited, although Yancey’s rumored wife and Austin Water & Power man could bring additional drama. If season 1 was about reopening wounds, season 2 will be about healing wounds, as love, loyalty and land all come under fire.
Season 2 episode titles and numbers
Netflix has confirmed a slight reduction in the episode count for Season 2, down from the 10 episodes we got in Season 1, down to 8-episodes. Although the official viewing order has not yet been determined, the titles have been revealed and tease plenty of country music tropes and Texas grit. In alphabetical order, the episode titles are:
- Edge of my seat here, Quinn
- forever. and always.
- Go ahead, get it now
- hey, cowboy
- let me let you go
- no place like home
- That dog will not hunt
- that leaves two
Collins’ departure?
As mentioned earlier, Eoin McKean and Andrew Linner not returning will have some impact on the story of Season 2.
Davis and Reed embody the two fronts of the long-running Kirkland-Collins feud, one through the water pipeline battle with Staton and the other through the high school quarterback’s struggle to balance ego, sadness, and hidden vulnerability. His departure in Season 2 will eliminate both the adult rivalries driving the land conflict and the teenage threads softening the Collins family dynamics, leaving a significant gap in the show’s inter-generational tension unless new characters or conflicts are brought in to keep the stakes alive.
If both characters do exit in Season 2, it would essentially remove the central rivalry between the Kirklands and Collinses, which gives rise to the story’s conflict, and suggest a new direction. Without Davis, the fight over land and water rights loses a major catalyst, and without Reed, the teenage subplot that humanizes Collins’ side of the feud disappears.

when will it happen Ransom Valley Will season 2 be on Netflix?
To date, Netflix has not officially announced a release window Ransom Valley season 2. We were initially predicting a comeback in mid to late 2026; However, the series was notably absent from the “Next on Netflix 2026” slate announcement.
Due to this omission, this implies that Season 2 will not return until at least 2027. That list wasn’t fully finalized, and it’s worth noting that one of the stars recently hinted that a summer 2026 release could still be on the cards, and a post from Garrett Wareing on April 22 said, “These cowboys are back on your screens sooner than you know it”.
