Created by the acclaimed team behind Earthquake (skjelvet) and La Palma, the new series will pick up immediately after the events of its predecessor.

As a quick refresher, la palma (which arrives on Netflix in December 2024) was based on a Norwegian family vacationing on the Canary island of La Palma, who are faced with disaster when a researcher discovers signs of an impending volcanic eruption.

Florida is surging just hours after a volcanic eruption on the island, according to Netflix. The story will focus on the Norwegian community in Florida (not the United States, apparently) which is present in norway) They are currently completely unaware that the devastating tsunami generated by the explosion is heading towards them across the ocean.
