The highly anticipated second season of Rapman’s hit sci-fi superhero series Supracell is getting ready to make its return to Netflix, and we’ve got news of two exciting new additions to the cast.
The super-powered saga of South London took Netflix by storm in its first season, and the hype for its sophomore season is real. With production on the second season having recently concluded, post-production is now in full swing, with the series possibly aiming for a 2027 return.
While we’ve already reported that Kobie Adom was chosen to direct alongside series creator Rapman along with a few other casting additions, we can now confirm two more actresses stepping into the world of Supercell for Season 2: christy fury And Rhoda Ofori-Atta.
Here’s a quick rundown of who they are and who they’ll be playing:
Christie Fury as “Nia”
rising actress christy fury Will join the cast in the role of Nia. A recent graduate of Rose Bruford College (BA Acting, 2024), Fury is making a name for herself on the stage. He recently completed a successful, sell-out performance as the lead role in Romeo Must Die at Theater Peckham for the Peckham Fringe Festival. Supasail will be a huge television debut for the rising star.
Rhoda Ofori-Atta as “Claire”
Joining the cast for Season 2 also includes Rhoda Ofori-AttaWho will play the character named Claire.
If you’re a frequent Netflix fan, Ofori-Atta will be a very familiar face. She’s practically a Netflix veteran at this point, having racked up an impressive list of credits on some of the streamer’s biggest UK and global hits. You may recognize her as Sunday Detective Monifah You Season 4, Miss Griffiths top boyor from his roles sex education And shadow and bone. Outside of Netflix, she is also set to appear in the upcoming CBS Studios spinoff NCIS: Tony and Ziva.
It’s unclear at the moment how Nia and Claire will fit into the broader narrative of Supacell as Michael, Tazer, Sabrina, Andre, and Rodney continue their fight against the secret organization, but we’ll keep you updated as more plot details are revealed.
