‘Survival of the Thickest’ Third and Final Season is Coming to Netflix in 2026

In a press release accompanying the announcement of Season 3, Netflix said, “The series represents authentic Black and LGBTQ+ voices that cover important conversations with heart and hilarity,” adding, “Michelle and her creative team have set the bar for inclusivity in front of and behind the camera with Season 2.” They noted that women of color directed all of Season 2’s episodes.

The series is produced by A24 Television, which is also behind Netflix’s Moe and Beef, which is set to return with Season 2 in April 2026.
