Coming to Netflix in Fall 2026 is One brand new documentary This includes the impact of recently knighted Sir Idris Elba, His Majesty King Charles III and The King’s Trust, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026.
First launched in 1976, the King’s Trust (formerly the Prince’s Trust) is a charity founded by King Charles III that supports vulnerable young people aged 11 to 30, assisting those with a range of difficulties including education, homelessness, unemployment, disability and the law.
A former recipient of a King’s Trust grant is Sir Idris Elba, one of the most prolific and renowned British actors of his generation, having starred in dozens of films and television shows. lutherThe mcu, Zootopia, star trek, fast and furious, Wire, Sonic the Hedgehogand many more. At the age of 18, Sir Idris received a grant of £1,500 to study at the National Youth Music Theatre, which he credits with launching his career.

Idris Elba is teaming up with His Majesty King Charles III to make a documentary highlighting the King’s Trust and its vital role in helping young people over the past 50 years.

The King, His Trust (WT) It was announced in June 2025 and is directed by BAFTA award-winning filmmaker Ashley Francis-Roy. to catch copper.
