Fans won’t have to wait much longer for Koyuki and Minato, as ‘Ramparts of Ice’ season 2 has secured an October 2026 release window.

More Ice Walls On its way to Netflix! The first season arrived on the streaming service in April 2026, and fans won’t have to wait long for the second season, which is confirmed to release on Netflix in October 2026.
Ice Rampart is a Japanese Netflix Original anime series adapted from Kocha Agasawa’s manga series of the same name. The series is directed by MANQ and produced by Tokyo-based Studio Kai. The first season debuted on Netflix on April 2, and although the series did not make the global top ten, the series did make Japan’s top ten, reaching second place in the ranking, and made the top lists of 23 additional countries.
“The story focuses on Koyuki Hikawa, a socially isolated student who keeps an emotional wall between herself and others. The only person she spends time with is her longtime friend, Miki Azumi. One day, her quiet life is disrupted when a boy named Minato Amamiya inexplicably starts trying to break down her barriers. Isolated Koyuki, high school’s idol Miki, becomes extremely Acquaintance Minato and laid-back basketball player Yota share a strange, yet sometimes frustrating student life.”
The second season is confirmed to arrive on Netflix in October 2026!
It has been confirmed that the anime will have a second season start its japanese broadcast On Thursday, October 1, 2026. Episodes from the first season released on Netflix on the same day as the Japanese broadcast, and we expect the second season to do the same.
Netflix has not yet released a trailer for the second season, but a teaser trailer for the second season has been released on the TBS YouTube channel.
