Welcome to your exclusive early look at all the movies and series scheduled to leave Netflix in the United States during August 2026.
As we approach the final stretch of summer, now is the time to start prioritizing your watch list for the inevitable licensing expiration at the end of the month. If you’re new here, Netflix licenses a large portion of its content from outside studios. When those contracts expire, dozens of your favorite movies and shows have to go out the door.
We’re taking a look at some of the major departures this month. First, Disney’s Classic Sitcom home improvement Currently planned to depart on the 1st of the month. We also see some potential deviations from the AMC deal fear the walking dead And a quest for witches The exit currently appears to be on August 19th (though keep your fingers crossed for a last-minute renewal!).
Elsewhere, Sony’s Venom: The Last Dance completes its first-window run at the end of the month, and a handful of Netflix originals (including a Russian sci-fi series) better than us) will leave the service forever.
