If you’ve ever tried to sift through Netflix’s vast US catalog and wished our A-Z lists were a little sharper and clearer, we’ve got good news: our library pages just got a proper refresh.
We’ve been building Netflix library indexes for years – by movies, series, genres, languages, decades, directors, and more – and this update is all about making those lists easier to browse and filter.
What’s new
Clear Filters (and Easy Reset)
- Narrow things down by language, genre, year, IMDb score, Netflix Original, and more. Active filters now appear as removable chips, and you can clear everything in one click when you want to start again.
must see selection
- Are you looking for titles we’ve already marked as worth your time? There’s now a Must Watch filter so you can jump straight to those picks.
sticky a-z letters bounce
- The letter rails stay with you as you scroll, so it’s faster to jump from A to M to Z when you’re deep into a large catalog.
seamless browsing
- Results load with a clean skeleton state, easily visible when cards are displayed, and each poster now shows a simple Movie/TV Series/Podcast label so you can tell the types apart at a glance.

- Our main library hub has been renovated to match the new A-Z experience, so jumping between catalogs feels consistent across the site.

A thank you from what’s on Netflix
The past year has seen a lot of changes in what’s on Netflix. We have added more writers, including Jack Giroux, who is now leading the interviews and often publishes several interviews per week. We’ve also added new contributors like Ryan Gaur, Randy Jones, Rafael Motamayor, Florian Echeverri, Carlo Van Remortel and others, with hopes of more contributing soon. This is in addition to the continued hard efforts of all our other former contributors and staff.
This is in addition to a top-to-bottom rework of our codebase and features, including a redesigned homepage that includes live events from Netflix, expanded popular functionality from our engagement report search and daily top 10s through our partnership with FlixPatrol. Our What’s New on Netflix ended the year with a huge overhaul, and we’re seeing usage of that tool reach an all-time high. This is not to mention our new Android And iOS The app that pulls that data. These are some of the biggest changes, but there are more to come.
As a result of all this, What’s on Netflix is on track to have its best year in history, and I want to thank all of our contributors and readers.
