The classic folktale then takes a modern turn when, on her way home, Iroha finds a telephone pole glowing with rainbow colors instead of a bamboo stalk. To his surprise, a cute baby emerged from the pillar. Unable to abandon it, Iroha takes the newborn home, where she rapidly transforms into a girl her own age who asks, “Are you Princess Kaguya?”
