Grammy-winning musician Anderson .Paak makes his directorial debut (and stars) in this lively, infectious musical comedy. The story follows a washed-up drummer who moves to South Korea, desperate to write for K-pop stars, only to discover that his long-lost son is the frontman of one of the country’s hottest new boy bands. Filled with great music and plenty of heart, this is a great, feel-good weekend watch.

Based on a shocking true story from 1977, this intense new crime thriller from acclaimed director Gus Van Sant (good will Hunting) has finally made its streaming debut on Netflix after its theatrical release a few months ago.
It features a powerhouse, pulse-pounding performance from Bill Skarsgård, who stars as Tony Kiritsis – a desperate man who takes a mortgage broker (Dacre Montgomery) hostage using a sawed-off shotgun tied with a “dead man’s string” around his neck. Co-starring Colman Domingo and Al Pacino, the film is a gritty, exquisitely tense tribute to ’70s cinema. If you’re looking for an entertaining, fun watch this weekend, you absolutely can’t miss this.
