Welcome to your weekly roundup of everything new on Netflix US! As we approach the end of May, Netflix has introduced another huge array of 31 new releases (14 movies and 17 series) to keep your watchlist enriched. Below, we’ll pick our favorite new additions and analyze what dominated Netflix’s top 10 charts for Memorial Day Weekend 2026.
Whether you’re looking for blockbuster sci-fi, brand new stand-up comedy, or a massive injection of historical docu-series (thanks to the huge drop in licensing that’s involved). abraham lincoln, FDR, GrantAnd Theodore Roosevelt), it’s been a great week for the streaming service.
Seeing off the final week of the month, you have titles like the new season of The Four Seasons to look forward to and this week, we also got a full preview of what’s to come throughout June.

The best new movies and shows on Netflix this week
ferrari (2023)

NOTE: Comes to Netflix tomorrow, Sunday, May 24th!
We’re cheating a little here by including a movie that hasn’t technically Not dropped yet, but we couldn’t ignore it! Michael Mann’s sweeping biographical drama coming tomorrow ferrari. As part of Netflix’s ongoing NEON output deal, the film stars Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari during the summer of 1957, as his company looms bankruptcy and his strained marriage with his wife Laura (Penelope Cruz) falls apart.
For some reason, I remember this film being quite controversial upon its initial release, although looking at the reviews now, it wasn’t, but rather Controversy regarding its box office And Film run by Neon. Either way, it’s hardly relevant as the reviews still remain strong. It’s a gorgeous, high-octane drama that’s perfect for Sunday and Memorial Day viewing.
No (2022)
Type: Movies
Style: Science Fiction, Horror | Runtime: 2 hours 10 minutes
Jordan Peele’s epic sci-fi horror epic has officially arrived on Netflix. Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer play sibling horse trainers in California who discover something supernatural lurking in the clouds above their farm. If you missed seeing it in theaters, it’s a must-see – see it tonight with the biggest screen and best sound system you have available. Is this Peele’s best film? Probably not, but it’s another absolute gem.

Type: TV series
Style: science fiction, mystery
If you are eagerly waiting for its final season stranger thingsNetflix is hoping to fill that void borough. Executive produced by the Duffer Brothers themselves, this brand-new sci-fi original follows a group of unlikely heroes in a picturesque New Mexico retirement community who must come together to stop a supernatural threat from stealing the one thing they don’t have: time.
It must be said that the series has had an incredibly slow start in the top 10, so if the creators’ plan for season three comes to fruition, Netflix will be hoping for a big uptick throughout the weekend.
