Two new Indian original series debuted this month that couldn’t be more different.
Netflix India casts a wide net with its two new releases Original Hindi series: The boxing drama grandeur and dazzling reality shows desi bling. There’s also a new original crime drama film due in May KartavyaStarring Saif Ali Khan. An important thing is that thriller Dhurandhar: Revenge It debuted on Netflix globally this month, but it is not currently available in India.

Bharatnatyam 2 Mohiniyattam (2026)

This is the sequel of 2024 bharatanatyam (which was also added to Netflix this month) picks up where the original film left off. The first film was about the secrets of a patriarchy, which were clearly just the tip of the iceberg. More lies and hidden truths emerge in the old man’s hometown, and his son becomes embroiled in an accidental murder and a case of fraud involving the local temple. Oru Duruha Sahacharyathil (2026)

Dhurandhar: The Revenge (2026)

This is the second part of the blockbuster saga starting from 2025 stalwart (Also streaming on Netflix). Part 2 continues Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari’s (Ranveer Singh) mission to dismantle Pakistan’s terror nexus from the inside, but it also explores who Mazari was before he became a spy. Netflix is hosting a “raw and unseen” edition Dhurandhar: Revenge Including a few additional minutes of footage and un-muting some of the profanity that was censored in the theatrical release. Meanwhile, the city council is preparing to beat Pawan’s brother for marrying a woman outside his caste. How can Paw protect the people he cares about when the powers that be are stacked against him? Akshay Kumar in lead role in period war film saffron (“Saffron”), is based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi in northern India. Kumar played the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, who led a contingent of 21 Sikh soldiers in the defense of a fort against an attack by more than 10,000 Afghani tribesmen.

As family life is thrown into disarray after a secret is revealed, the clan reluctantly unites to protect their reputation from their increasingly suspicious neighbors.

The creative team behind the reality series dubai bling is back with new series desi bling. This time, the cameras are following rich Indian expats living the high life in Dubai.
