The popular anime series was previously exclusive to Crunchyroll, but the first season will be available on Netflix US for the first time on May 1, 2026.
Shangri-La Frontier is a Japanese adventure fantasy anime series produced by C2C and directed by Toshiyuki Kubuka. The anime is written by Kazuyuki Fudasayu, who adapted it from the novel and manga of the same name by author Katarina. The manga began its serialization in July 2020, and 26 volumes have been published to date. Currently, there are 16 million copies of the manga in circulation. The anime debuted in October 2023 and is simulcast on Crunchyroll.
High school student Rakurou Hizutome is fond of flawed games, which are unbalanced due to bugs that make them unplayable.
