It became a smash hit for Netflix, garnering massive viewership, prompting the streamer to unexpectedly greenlight a second season with two more installments. To be honest, we’ve left the house, so I don’t know if we’ll be back.” Later that year, she reiterated her lack of information, saying, “I don’t have any updates, I’m afraid… if there are any, I don’t have any updates.”

Over the past few months, multiple production sources have been suggesting that the series is preparing to begin production sometime this year. Previous listings for the year suggested that filming would begin in mid-June 2026 and conclude by mid-March 2027. Of course, there are now more questions than answers as to what shape season 2 will take. Will this be some kind of continuation of the first season, or will it transition into an anthology format as some expect? We will have to wait and see in the coming weeks and months.
