The film has now been viewed 139.8 million times, based on 237.7 million watch hours.
The news of the film making the all-time top 10 list was actually teased by Ted Sarandos on Netflix’s earnings call last week, calling it one of the biggest movies of the year so far. To claim its new place among Netflix’s biggest heavy-hitters, cloudy has successfully turned out the Russo Brothers’ big budget action blockbuster, The Gray ManWhich was previously ranked #10 with 139.3 million views.
Not only did it secure its spot in the overall top 10, but this staggering number of viewers officially crowned cloudy It’s Netflix’s second best-performing animated film ever kpop demon hunterWhich took the crown of being the most watched Netflix film of all time at the end of last year.
A major driving force behind this historic performance has been the film’s rave reviews. Critics and audiences alike have universally praised the feature, citing its stunning visuals and incredible emotional resonance.
